Danmarksmestrene fra Helsinge er blandt de foreløbig 47 hold, som 22/9 - 30/9 spiller Europa Cup i Chania på Kreta.

EUROPEAN CLUB CUP IN CRETE 22th-30th SEPTEMBER

A new record of participations!!!

47 teams from 27 countries have already confirmed their participation in the 17th ECC, that will be held at the CRETA MARINE HOTEL ****(*)

44 teams from 24 countries have -up to date- confirmed their participation in the 17th European Club Cup, that is organised by AO KYDON of Chania 22th-30th September at the new luxury hotel of the G-HOTELS series, IBEROSTAR CRETA MARINE. It's an incredible increase over than 50%, if it is compared with the previous year, when 29 teams from 14 countries participated in the 16th ECC

The Champions League will be organized in Crete under the best possible terms, advertizing Greece once more all around the world. It is the first time that such an event takes place in Greece. Of course, the interest is great as Crete remains the number one target of Tourists. And of course, the chess players know that AO Kydon guarantees a perfect organization. The next days more teams are going to confirm their participation in the games.

The games will be broadcasted online via the site of AO KYDON, while the organizers' target is to keep this organization alive forever in the memory of everybody that shall be here.

Also, there will be live broadcast of the games in the site: http://www.venizelia.gr. The interest is so great that in July the hits in this site are more than 37.000!!!


INTERNATIONAL RAPID TOURNAMENT

Three days ago AO KYDON is organising in CRETA STAR HOTEL International Rapid tournament, with high prizes. The system of the games is 11-round rapid Swiss, 20 minutes per player, plus 10 seconds per move for all the game.
